The process of creation of municipal Programmes for the Development of Culture for the period 2011-2015, in accordance with the Law on Culture of Montenegro and the National Programme for the Development of Culture 2011-15 is in progress. Expeditio invited non-governmental organizations from the territories of the municipalities of Kotor, Tivat and Herceg Novi to attend the round table within creation of local Programmes for the Development of culture 2011-15. The round table was held in Kotor, on April 29, 2011 (Friday) at 13h in the Assembly Hall / Palace Bizanti.
The National Programme for the Development of Culture recognizes in the local program topics such as independent culture scene, youth culture, integration of gender equality into cultural policies and accessibility for persons with disabilities. Active participation of all interested parties is crucial for adoption of strategic documents. Therefore, the representatives of non-governmental organizations and associations from the territories of the municipalities of Kotor, Tivat and Herceg Novi were invited to give their contribution through suggestions, proposals, ideas and opinions in the process of collecting data and information of importance for the Programmes for the Development of Culture of the mentioned municipalities. The meeting was attended by about 20 representatives of civil and public sector.
Expeditio is a partner with the Municipalities of Kotor, Tivat and Herceg Novi in this process. This activity is carried out by Expeditio as a part of Sostenuto project – IPA MED.
