Description: This project was carried out within the Sustainable Energy Europe 2005-2008 Campaign launched by the European Commission: . EXPEDITIO submitted an application to conduct an Energy Days campaign in Montenegro and to join the Sustainable Energy Partnership.
Strengthening capacity of local governments and non-governmental organizations in Montenegro for projects writing and managing grants from the EU funds, is a project designed by EXPEDITIO in cooperation with Municipality of Kotor. In December 2006, project is approved by PHILIA - Association of Multuetnic Cities of Southeast Europe.
Over recent years in Montenegro it has become possible to obtain financial resources from the EU funds by applying to tenders.
Description: This is a partner project that involves 6 Montenegrin NGOs besides EXPEDITIO. The project goal is to adopt a high-quality national spatial plan, the drafting of which is in process. This plan should adhere to European standards in the field of spatial planning.
Description: This project aims to showcase the palaces of Boka Kotorska and to have them included as part of what is officially offered to tourists, as one of the available cultural itineraries, in order to contribute to recognizing the value of heritage and improving the cultural tourism of Montenegro, while at the same time enhancing the economic and social development of the country.
Description: In June 2006, EXPEDITIO published a GUIDE TO PERAST in our and English language. In an interesting way and with lots of high-quality photographs the guide presents cultural and historical heritage of Perast and brings information about the location and history of Perast, important buildings in the town (churches, palaces, the fortress, etc.), as well as traditional events and many other interesting things.
Description: The main activity of the project “Spaces without barrier” is publishing a first textbook in Montenegro about architectural and construction standards on adapting physical environment to the needs of disabled persons.
Description: In Poland, from 12 to 19 November 2006, a Study tour was organized for representatives of administration and non-governmental organizations from Montenegro to Polish institutions that deal with EU integration. The study tour was titled “For you could be difficult, too – Make the process less painful”. It was aimed at transmitting Polish experience of EU integration process, especially in the field of environmental protection and sustainable development.
Description: The aim of the project “Managing the space – promoting European standards” is to increase the awareness of the Serbia and Montenegro citizens about the European standards in the area of managing the space - urban planning, architecture, sustainable development and cultural heritage as well as to define directions of action in those areas, that would move Serbia and Montenegro toward European integrations.
Description: The project implies observing the process of constructing United Nations building in Podgorica. It will be the first UN building and first commercial building in this area constructed according to the ecological construction principles. The project aims at promoting the idea, principles and techniques of sustainable, energy efficient construction, and raising awareness about them, through observing a full process of UN building realization.
Description: The campaign “Look Around – Think About Space!“ was initiated by EXPEDITIO in April 2005. The campaign is aimed at mobilizing the citizens of Montenegro in understanding the devastation of the environment by inappropriate building. The topic has not received much public attention, and there is a lack of awareness of how little it takes to permanently destroy the natural and inherited values of the precious and small space of Montenegro.
U Dubrovniku je 17. juna/lipnja 2013. godine održan sastanak radne grupe za participativni proces u okviru projekta „Baština-Pokretač razvoja“. Sastanku, koji je održan u prostorijama Zavoda za prostorno uređenje Dubrovačko-neretvanske županije, prisustvovali su predstavnici/ce partnera i saradnika projekta, kao i nezavisni eksperti.
