EXPEDITIO

Within the project “Civil Society Engagement in community building through the understanding, development, management and preservation of the built cultural heritage of the Western Balkans – CSEinHeritage”, four specific Training and Information Centres for Heritage will be established in Romania, Kosovo, Bosnia-Herzegovina, and Montenegro. Within these countries the Training and Information Centres will be the conduit for promoting all activities related to the development of cultural heritage through the involvement of CSO’s/NGO’s.

The Training and Information Centres will develop a series of initiatives which will seek to strengthen the role of CSO’s/NGO’s in the field of cultural heritage, foster a means of co-operation between CSO’s/NGO’s, develop sustainable networks for continued future co-operation, and develop educational activities and practical innovative activities to raise the perception of the value of cultural heritage to society, and to demonstrate the worth of cultural heritage at a practical level.

In Montenegro, the Training and Information Centre will operate within the EXPEDITIO office.
