- the Department for Economic and Social Affairs of the Municipality of Tivat
organized a workshop on "Strategic planning of culture at the local level". The workshop is intended for cultural stakeholders from the territory of Boka Kotorska (representatives of local governments, cultural institutions and non-governmental organizations from the municipalities of Kotor, Tivat and Herceg Novi).
The workshop took place in Kotora (Bizanti Palace in the Old Town Kotor), on Friday, the 2nd of July 2010, with the beginning at 10 a.m.
The workshop is part of the project SOSTENUTO – Thinking culture as a factor of economic and social innovation. Sostenuto is a project implemented in collaboration between six partners from the Mediterranean countries (Spain, Italy, Slovenia, France and Montenegro).
The workshop was run by Mr. Predrag Cvetičanin currently teaching Sociology of the Arts and Culture at the Department of Sociology of the University of Philosophy in Niš, Serbia. Currently he is completing his Ph. D. Studies at the Faculty of Sociology of the University of Belgrade. He has experience in developing cultural strategies and conducting training programmes in culture.
