logo_SCPSwiss Cultural Programme in the Western Balkans has awarded further support for implementation of an additional small project to organizations EXPEDITIO and Co-PLAN, in recognition of the good work these organizations have done through the SCP supported project „Revival of city Squares in Balkan Cities“.

EXPEDITIO has received additional funds for the project proposal entitled Good examples of public spaces furnishing and recommendations for the urban furniture in Boka Kotorska. This project will further explore the best possibilities for improving and furnishing mapped public spaces. It will include research and analysis of the best examples of urban furniture and public space improvements, possible adaptations of these practices to the specific spaces in Boka Kotorska, as well as design proposals for local urban furniture. The project will be realized between March and May 2013.

Co-PLAN has received additional funds for the special issue of A+P Forum devoted to Tirana Architecture Week 2012.

The third partner in the project „Revival of city Squares in Balkan Cities,“ organization CSD from Skopje, could not be awarded additional funds for technical reasons – however, through an agreement between the partners it was decided to divide the awarded funds equally. As a result, CSD has also received additional support which will go towards organization of the exhibition 50 years from the earthquake in Skopje and the promotion of the publication Unfinished modernizations - between utopia and pragmatism.
