A representative of Expeditio participated in the 11th Regional restoration camp organized by Cultural Heritage without Borders in partnership with the Institute for the protection of Cultural Monuments of Serbia. The 11th Restoration camp was held in Rogljevo village near Negotin, Serbia, from 15th to 29th of June 2013.
Around twenty participants from Albania, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Greece, Montenegro and Serbia took part in the camp. During the two weeks practical restoration works have been done on three wine cellars which are a part of Rogljevske pivnice, a complex of traditional buildings for wine production and storage in this region of Serbia. Participants learned how to work with wood, stone and mud plasters.
During the camp the group had a chance to visit archaeological sites Gamzigrad (Felix Romuliana) and Lepenski Vir.
