MILD Home partner meetings took place at the Szechenyi Istvan University in Gyor, Hungary, from March 4 to March 7, 2014.
During this “Green week” an exhibition of winning competition entries from all participating countries has been inaugurated, and a series of meetings regarding the further developments of the MILD Home model were completed. In addition, the project partners discussed further steps of project implementation.
As a part of the program, all Green week participants had the opportunity to visit the Benedictine Abbey of Pannonhalma, enlisted as UNESCO World Heritage. Although a cultural heritage site, this property includes a biomass heating plant, a contemporary structure designed and constructed with much respect to the surrounding historic structures and the landscape.
A representative of EXPEDITIO took part in the meetings, as Municipality of Savski venac in Belgrade and Expeditio Belgrade are collaborating in project implementation. Savski venac is one of the partners in MILD Home project, financed by the European Union, within the SEE transnational program for cooperation in Southeast Europe.
