The aim of the project implemented by EXPEDITIO and funded by the Headley Trust Foundation from the UK, is the increasing of knowledge and awareness on the use of traditional materials and building techniques in restoration of buildings, in line with modern challenges. The focus of the project in the first year of implementation was the restoration of the traditional wooden windows, while this year focus is on the use of lime mortar.

 

Data collection and research of lime mortar and their use is in progress, and the material gathered will be the basis for the preparation of a publication that is planned.
