The Days of Activism by NGO Naša akcija

The non-governmental organization “Nasa akcija” / “Our Action” Kotor, partner in the project StroNGO, is organizing the Days of Activism in Muo, Kotor. Below you can read their invitation and you can join them in Muo, on 3-4 June 2017.

The Days of Activism

The non-governmental organization “Nasa akcija” / “Our Action” Kotor, partner in the project StroNGO, is organizing the Days of Activism in Muo, Kotor. Partners in the action are the Local Community Office Muo and organizations that join us over the next few days.

This volunteer action is part of the StroNGO project, which aims to contribute to contribute to the development of stronger civil society in Boka Kotorska. The lead partner in the project is NGO Expeditio, while other partners are four organizations from the area of Boka Kotorska: “Naša Akcija” / “Our Action” from Kotor, “Urban Nova” from Herceg Novoi, Cultural-Heritage Association “Napredak” Gornja Lastva from Tivat and “Agora” from Budva. The project is approved by the European Union's IPA 2014 Civil Society Facility Montenegro, and it is managed by the Delegation of the European Union to Montenegro.

The action will take place on Muo promenade on 3 June 2017, beginning at 16.00 and on 4 June 2017, beginning at 9.00. (Volunteers coming from other towns should contact the organizers for details).

The participants will be provided with work gloves, as well as refreshment and food (dinner on the first day, breakfast/lunch on the second day). Please, dress appropriately, and bring additional footwear and clothes in case we get wet, dirty or have a swim or a walk. Accommodation will be provided in tents.

16:00-18:00 *	Setting up the camp and acquainting the participants with the site, Muo Beginning of the action of painting of small outdoor libraries
18:00-20:00 *	Introducing NGOs, volunteers and citizens. An outdoor workshop on civic activism and strengthening of activism in Boka Kotorska. Dinner.
20:00-23:00	Sightseeing of the town
23:00	Returning to the camp
24:00	"Lights out" in the camp

* Participants of the Painting School of Kotor will have an Outdoor class on Muo promenade, on 3 June 2017, from 17.00 to 19.00 and you are invited to join them.

June 4, 2017	Sunday
8:00-9:00 9:00-13:00	Getting up and breakfast Action of coast cleaning and clearing of the path leading to the cemetery, Muo
13:00-16:30	Lunch, rest and swimming
