Dear colleagues, we would like to inform you that the Municipalities of Kotor, Tivat and Herceg Novi have initiated the process of creation of the Local Cultural Strategies (programmes for the development of culture) for these three municipalities. The process of creation of strategies, which will be happening in the following four months, was initiated by EXPEDITIO within the project SOSTENUTO - Culture as a factor of economic and social innovation.
On Thursday, March 17, 2011, in the premises of the Municipality of Tivat (in the new location -Square of magnolija) in the period 11.00-14.30 a workshop was held initializing the process of creation of cultural strategies for the municipalities in Boka Bay – Kotor, Tivat and Herceg Novi. The workshop will gather members of the work group and the representatives of cultural institutions and non-governmental organizations dealing with culture from the territory of Boka Kotorska. The workshop will present the method of creation of strategic plans for culture of towns, what that process includes and which cultural policy dilemmas are most often faced.
