The representative of EXPEDITIO was invited to make a presentation during the SEENET Summer School entitled Reconciling Tourism Opportunities with the Process of Local Sustainable Development, organized in Skadar, Albania, in the period from 9 to 15 October 2011.
The Summer School is a partnership project entitled ’SEENET’, financed by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the local government in the Balkans. For more information about the project visit http://www.see-net.org/.
At the workshop in Skadar, the representative of EXPEDITIO made a presentation „Valorisation of local resources: cultural and natural heritage – resources for sustainable tourism and local development”, with the particular focus on the following topics:
- Cultural and natural heritage –resources for sustainable development
- Definition of cultural heritage | cultural landscape
- Elements of cultural landscape | on the example of Prokletije/Bjeshket e Nemuna area
- Models of valorisation | opportunities, positive and negative examples
