Cultural center Nikola Đurković, the Town Library and the Reading Room Kotor are organizing on Wednesday, May 9, 2012, starting at 18:30h in the Small hall of the Cultural Center promotion of the new mountaineering – tourist publication, by Željko Starčević, published by the Mountaineering Club Subra from Herceg Novi.
Within this promotion a representative of EXPEDITIO will speak about the cultural heritage as one of the most significant segments of mountain environment of Boka Kotorska and present the project Valorization of the Rural Heritage in Montenegro – Pilot Area Zalazi.
The primary purpose of this evening is to point out to great opportunities in creative expansion of the traditional tourist offer of Boka Kotorska. It is evident that almost entire tourist, economic, cultural and any other life in Boka is happening in the first 100 to 200 meters of the coastal line, while vast areas of hinterland remain forgotten and underused. We believe that sustainable use of resources in the mountain environment of Boka Kotorska is of vital and equal importance both for us and for our tourism.
