STRAND - The Association for the development of sustainable urban community is organizing an international conference and exhibition ON ARCHITECTURE, from December 9th till 16th, in Belgrade. The conference deals with the complexity and heterogeneous meanings of architecture through three thematic blocks: Phenomenology of Architecture, Architecture and art, Technology and architecture. A representative of Expeditio participated in a consultation meeting between representatives of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development and representatives of CS organizations active in the field of education, science and research. The meeting was organized by the Office for Cooperation with Civil Society of the Republic of Serbia, and it took place in Belgrade, Palace Serbia, on Friday July 19, 2013.

Taken from the site: Business Centre of Municipality Savski venac --- City Municipality Savski venac issued an open anonymous single-preliminary competition for the architectural and urbanistic solution of Eco green village in the teritory of Municipality of Savski venac, which make MILD Home residential buildings designed according to the standards of sustainability in the construction and exploitation and that by its structure and equipment contributes to a higher standard of living in terms of ecology and environmental protection, energy efficiency and social cohesion.

Jelena Pejković, program manager of Expeditio office in Belgrade, participated in a week-long workshop on strawbale building in Wheeling, West Virginia, lead by Andrew Morrison of www.strawbale.com. The group of about 20 participants learned about this building technique through practical work on the Hines family house.
