pozoriste o kotoru1 screenOn Sunday, 20 December 2015 an article entitled “Awareness raising through artistic interventions” was published in the daily newspapers “Vijesti”. It contains as interview about the project “Theatre Play about Kotor”, which entails the preparation of a documentary play that will be based on the experiences and stories of Kotor citizens. The interview with Tatjana Rajić was conducted by Maja Mrđenović, a theatre critic.

ZURNAL #1Activities within process of implementing "Theatre Play about Kotor" include "Theatre Play about Kotor Journal", the communication channel of the project in the form of wall panel, designed to introduce the public to the process of making the play, start a dialogue and initiate participation. Journal also serves as a mean of entertainment and education of the theater audience and tends to intrigue citizens, potential participants and audience as well as teach and guide, in the unpretentious and unobtrusive, and at the same time intriguing and effective way. The first edition of the Journal, which is created and edited by the theatre theorist Maja Mrdjenović, has been placed on the ramparts of the Old City of Kotor (near the entrance to the Cultural Centre "Nikola Djurkovic"), and during the project implementation are planned two more editions.

Zurnal 1A bulletin of the project “Theatre Play about Kotor” has been prepared in order to acquaint the public with the process of work on a documentary play about Kotor. At the same time, the bulletin serves as a means to motivate and educate theatre audience in order to intrigue, move, teach and lead the citizens, potential participants and audience in an unpretentious and unassuming, but intriguing and effective way, as wall as to initiate a dialog and participation.

pozoriste o kotoruOn Saturday, 12 December 2015 the fourth workshop within the “Theatre Play about Kotor" was held. It was attended by 28 participants. Once again we want to thank to all the participants. After New Year’s holidays we will continue working with Petar Pejakovic on collecting ideas and thinking out and developing the topic and content of the play. Just for a reminder, the aim is to produce a documentary play about Kotot based on the experiences and stories of local people - what they like about the town and what they would like to be different.

poz05On Saturday, 28 November 2015 the third workshop within the “Theatre Play about Kotor" was held. It was attended by 24 participants. Once again we want to thank to all the participants. At the next workshop, scheduled for Saturday, 12 December 2015 at 7 p.m. we will continue working with Petar Pejakovic on collecting ideas and thinking out and developing the topic and content of the play. Just for a reminder, the aim is to produce a documentary play about Kotot based on the experiences and stories of local people - what they like about the town and what they would like to be different.

EXPEDITIO is a non-governmental organization whose mission is to encourage sustainable spatial development in Montenegro and SEE region through activity in the fields of sustainable architecture, cultural heritage, urban planning and through projects that encourage overall development of the civil society. Expeditio was established in 1997.
