The non-governmental organization “Nasa akcija” / “Our Action” Kotor, partner in the project StroNGO, is organizing the Days of Activism in Muo, Kotor. Below you can read their invitation and you can join them in Muo, on 3-4 June 2017.

U sali Opštine Tivat 22.4.2017. održana je radionica Uvod u permakulturu na kojoj prisustvuje oko 35 zainteresovanih predstavnika/ca NVO, lokalnih samouprava, skola, vrtića te radoznalih pojedinaca/ki. Radionicu vodi Aleksandrina Vujacic, dizajnerka permakulture, a organizatori su bili Opština Tivat i partneri StroNGO projekta.

Pozivamo Vas da se prijavite na radionicu pod nazivom "Uvod u permakulturu" koja će se održati u subotu 22.4.2017. u sali Opštine Tivat. Radionicu zajednički organizuju Opština Tivat i partneri projekta StroNGO. Radionica je namjenjena predstavnicima civilnog sektora, medija, sportskih društava, političkih partija...sa teritorije opština Tivat, Herceg Novi, Budva i Kotora. Radionicu vodi Aleksandrina Vujačić, dipl. ing. el. / dizajnerka permakulture.

U petak 10.03.2017. u prostorijama Expeditio održan je partnerski sastanak partnera na StroNGO projektu - Naša akcija, Agora, Urban Nova i Napredak Gornja Lastva. Na sastanku su realizovane završne aktivnosti oko zajedničkog izvještaja i dogovoren plan aktivnosti u 2017. godini.

On Wednesday, 28 December 2016, a meeting of the StroNGO project partners was held in Expeditio office in Kotor. The meeting was attended by representatives of the project partners Naša akcija, Agora, Urban Nova, Napredak Gornja Lastva and Expeditio. The partners discussed the activities related to preparation of a joint report and drew up a general plan of work for 2017.

On Saturday, 17 December 2016, beginning at 10 a.m., the Day of Olives will be organized in Gornja Lastva by the Cultural Heritage Association Napredak Gornja Lastva. The aim of this event is to promote olive growing and olives production in the area of Vrmac. In order to promote good practices the event will be attended by guests from the Association of Olive Oil Producers Vela Luka from Korčule, who will talk about the situation in Korčula, the olive oil of which has recently received the EU protected designation of origin.

Cultural Heritage Association Napredak Gornja Lastva and the Green Team of Tivat Municipality are organizing a volunteer action of clearing the old walking path that leads from the asphalt road to Gornja Lastva to the plateau in front of the village church.  The walking path is about 400 meters long. The action will take place on Saturday, 10 December 2016, starting at 9 a.m. To join the action please, contact us at 069/647-444 (contact person Igor Mamula). Registration is open until 9 December 2016.

After the training “The Basic of Project Writing”, held in Budva, we asked the participants to share with us their impressions, comments and suggestions. We want to thank the participant for their compliments and suggestions, as well as useful ideas.

Within the project StroNGO, which aims to contribute to the development of stronger civil society in Boka Kotorska, the training on the Basics of Project Writing was held in Budva, on 19-20 November 2016. The training, attended by 26 NGO representatives, was run by trainers from the non-governmental organization Proaktiv - Ivan Topalović and Nenad Stojanović and assisted by the local partner NGO Agora from Budva.

Partners of the project StroNGO, which aims to contribute to the development of stronger civil society in Boka Kotorska, are organizing training on the Basics of Project Writing, which will be held in Budva, on 19-20 November 2016.

We invite you to screening of the documentary film “The Venice Syndrome” (director Andreas Pichler), on Tuesday, 1 November 2016, at 8 p.m. at Kino Boka in Kotor. The film tells about the effects of mass tourism, particularly the huge number of visitors from cruisers, to everyday life of remaining Venetians. The film will be screened translated into Croatian language, and the entrance is free.
