PARK (ing) Day is an event that is held annually around the world. That day, the citizens, artists, NGO activists and all interested converte parking lots in temporary public spaces.
Activity "Parking Day in Montenegro" will be realized within the project "Eclectis - European Citizens' Empowerment Laboratory for Cities Shared" that in Montenegro is implemented by NGO Expeditio from Kotor. The project is co-financed by the European Union through the program "Culture Programme 2007-2013". Activity was further funded through the project "Promotion of Sustainable Development Principles in Public areas of Kotor" by the Rockefeller Brothers Fund.
EXPEDITIO is a non-governmental organization whose mission is to encourage sustainable spatial development in Montenegro and SEE region through activity in the fields of sustainable architecture, cultural heritage, urban planning and through projects that encourage overall development of the civil society. Expeditio was established in 1997.
