Expeditio representative, Aleksandra Kapetanovic, was a jury member at the recently held awards ceremony EU PRIZE FOR CULTURAL HERITAGE / EUROPA NOSTRA AWARDS. European Union Prize for Cultural Heritage / Europa Nostra Awards, is celebrating excellence in the preservation of cultural heritage, ranging from the restoration of buildings and their adaptation to new uses, to the rehabilitation of urban and rural landscapes, archaeological interpretations, and care for art collections. Moreover, emphasizes research, commitment to heritage conservation by individuals or organizations and educational projects related to cultural heritage.
Expeditio representative was a member of the jury which referred to a category 3 : DEDICATED SERVICE by INDIVIDUALS or ORGANISATIONS.
Assigning of these awards is supported by the European Commission under the Culture Programme. Europa Nostra was in charge of organizing the elections of participants as the award ceremony. This way of rewarding aims to promote high standards and high quality skills in conservation practice and to stimulate cross-border exchanges in the field of heritage. By spreading the ' power of example' , the award also aims to encourage further efforts and projects related to cultural heritage in Europe. Examples of achievements related to cultural heritage in Europe are awarded in four categories :

Category 4 : Education , training and awareness-raising
