"Presentation of the EU and international standards and methodologies in the protection and management of natural and cultural heritage" will be held on February 20th, 2014 in Dubrovnik, within the project: "Heritage - Driver of Development".
One-day presentation is intended for representatives of interested institutions, non-governmental organizations from Dubrovnik and the Bay of Kotor and representatives of partners and collaborators in the project as well as other interested audiences who have a need for knowledge about the EU and international standards and methodologies in the protection and management of natural and cultural heritage.
The presentation will be realized through lectures that will be held by three experts with experience in the field of protection and management of natural and cultural heritage and will talk about a variety of Croatian and international and EU documents in this field (ELC , Faro , Paris declare.).
The aim of the presentation is to familiarize attendees with Croatian legislation in the light of the implementation of the EU Convention obligations to protect and manage cultural heritage and to give an overview on the status of cultural landscapes in the legislation now in Croatia, with regard to international conventions which should contribute to successful decision-making process in the border regions.
Lecturs ni these presentations are open to the public and will be held on February 20th, 2014 , in the building of the University Campus, Branitelja Dubrovnika 41 , in the amphitheater on the first floor.
