EXPEDITIO representative, Aleksandra Kapetanovic, is a consultant on the scientific - research project: "Valorization of Montenegrin pasture settlements through the sustainable development of agriculture and tourism - KATUN", funded by the Ministry of Science within the grant project of the World Bank "Higher Education and Research for Competitiveness - INGO ".
KATUN (pasture sattlement) project was launched aiming at knowledge-base sustainable development of agriculture and agro-tourism in Montenegro pasture settlements while preserving the cultural heritage of rural areas. By strengthening the interdisciplinary approach in addressing the challenges of economic and social development of Montenegro, the project will be, in the next two years, realized by Biotechnical Faculty, Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management in Kotor and the Historical Institute of Montenegro together with two companies (HM "Durmitor" Zabljak and "Old House" Podgorica) and supported by four partner institutions from the EU (Slovenia, Sweden and two from Italy).
Presentation of the project KATUN will take place in Rector's Office of the University of Montenegro, on 07.05.2015, beginning at 19:00h.
