Project Heritage - Driver of Development had its presentation within The 16th Council of Europe Meeting of the Workshops for the implementation of the European Landscape Convention on “Landscape and transfrontier cooperation: Landscape knows no boundary”, held in Andorra la Vella, Andorra, 1-2 October 2015. Meeting and workshop are organised by the Council of Europe – Democratic Governance, Secretariat of the European Landscape Convention – in cooperation with the Ministry of Environment, Agriculture and Sustainable development of Andorra, within the context of the Work Programme of the European Landscape Convention of the Council of Europe.
At the workshop are presented the outcomes of the Heritage - Driver of Development project, realized within Cross-Border Programme Croatia-Montenegro, under the Measure 1.1: Joint actions for environment, nature and cultural heritage protection. Leading partners in project were: Municipality Tivat, Montenegro and Physical Planning Institute of Dubrovnik-Neretva County, Croatia. The other partners were: Expeditio – Center for Sustainable Spatial Development (Kotor), Cultural Heritage Association Napredak Gornja Lastva (Tivat), DUNEA – Regional Development Agency Dubrovnik-Neretva County (Dubrovnik) and Public Institution for management of protected natural values of the Dubrovnik-Neretva County (Dubrovnik).
Within 16th Council of Europe Meeting of the Workshops for the implementation of the European Landscape Convention, project Heritage - Driver of Development was presented by representatives of Montenegro and Croatia: Sanja Mitrovic Ljeskovic - Deputy Chairman of the Council of the European Conference on the European Landscape Convention, a member of the Board of the Council of Europe for culture, heritage and landscapes (CDCPP) and Biba Dumbovic Bilusic - Senior Adviser, Ministry of Culture, Directorate for Cultural Heritage.
