Results realized within the project Heritage - Driver of Development were presented at a Programme conference of the IPA Cross-border Programme Croatia-Montenegro 2007-2013, which was held at the Hotel Ramada, Podgorica, 11 January 2016.
The aim of the project "Heritage - Driver of Development" is contribution to the establishment of cooperation between institutions responsible for the protection of natural and cultural heritage in Croatia and Montenegro through implementation of joint programs, education, transfer of knowledge and activities to raise awareness.
Lead partner in the project on the Montenegrin side was the Municipality of Tivat, while on Croatian side lead partner was Institute for Physical Planning of Dubrovnik-Neretva County.
Partners on the project, in addition to Expeditio - Center for Sustainable Development, Kotor, were the Cultural Heritage Association "Napredak" Gornja Lastva, Tivat, DUNEA - Regional Development Agency of Dubrovnik-Neretva County, Dubrovnik and the Public Institution for Management of Protected Natural Values in Dubrovnik Neretva County, Dubrovnik.
