Apply for a study visit “PUBLIC SPACES-THE SPACES FOR CITIZENS"

We invite all interested and motivated NGO actors from the municipalities of Herceg Novi, Kotor, Tivat and Budva to apply to participate in the study visit PUBLIC SPACES-THE SPACES OF CITIZENS. The study visit to Zagreb and Split will be organized during the weekend of 4-6 November 2016. (Travel details will be sent subsequently).

During the stay in Zagreb and Split, representatives of NGOs from Boka Kotorska will have a chance to learn about good examples and practices of how Croatian NGOs use spaces owned by municipalities of the state. The idea is to motivate activists from Boka Kotorska to launch initiatives for a more transparent use of public spaces in the interests of civil society and citizens.

The study visit will be organized by NGO Expeditio from Kotor, in cooperation with the associations: Operacija GRAD from Zagreb, Ministry of Space from Belgrade and Institute for Spatial Policies from Ljubljana.

The organizers will cover travel expenses (by a car), accommodation (in apartments) and food expenses during the study visit. Number of participants is limited, as well as the budget. The final selection of participants will be made based on their motivation. Application deadline is: Wednesday, 19 October 2016.
