Educational TV programme "Space around Us"

Within the project "Educating Children about the Values of Space", our organization, in collaboration with the Education Office of Montenegro, has set up on the internet the first in a series of 12 educational programmes about the values of space. The title of the first issue is the Complexity of Space. During the next months, you will be able to see all 12 issues set up on the internet.

The Education Office of Montenegro participated in the implementation of an international project called R.A.V.E. Space (Raising Awareness of Values of Space through the Process of Education), which was approved under the INTERREG III B CADSES programme. The project lasted from March 2005 until December 2007, and it included five CADSES countries (Slovenia, Italy, Greece, Poland and Montenegro). During the project, a Strategy was developed for introducing spatial planning in education system, i.e. for introducing spatial planning and sustainable development topics into the formal educational curricula. Education systems and educational curricula of the countries involved in the project were analyzed in detail, including all existing topics related to space. A series of 12 educational programmes was created covering various topics related to space and education of children about the values of space.
