A final conference of the project CSEinHeritage - Civil Society engagement in the preservation of the built cultural heritage in the Western Balkans was held at Bánffy Castle in Bontida, Romania, on 17th August 2012.
The project CSEinHeritage was implemented within the launched by the European Commission – the Directorate General for Enlargement.
The overall objective of the project was to strengthen to the role of Civil Society/Cultural operators in raising awareness of the value (social, economic, educational, cultural) of the built cultural heritage in society building and community development.
The project’s lead partner was the organization from Romania. Other partners were: , the Netherlands; EXPEDITIO, Montenegro; , Sweden and , Serbia.

EXPEDITIO is a non-governmental organization whose mission is to encourage sustainable spatial development in Montenegro and SEE region through activity in the fields of sustainable architecture, cultural heritage, urban planning and through projects that encourage overall development of the civil society. Expeditio was established in 1997.
