From 1999-2011, Design Council CABE (Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment) was the government's advisor on architecture, urban design and public space in the UK. It was established in order to assist decision-makers and experts in creating better spaces, as well as to inspire the public with good design. Expeditio has been following the work of CABE for years and their approach is a model for our work. Expeditio had a pleasure to invite Ms. Nahid Majid, director of Design Council CABE, to visit Montenegro and Expeditio. This visit was an opportunity to talk about possible cooperation between the two organizations. EXPEDITIO is a non-governmental organization whose mission is to encourage sustainable spatial development in Montenegro and SEE region through activity in the fields of sustainable architecture, cultural heritage, urban planning and through projects that encourage overall development of the civil society. Expeditio was established in 1997.
