From October 25th to 29th 2009 the delegation of the partnership organizations we cooperate with on the SOSTENUTO project stayed in Kotor- Zuninno e Partner (ZEP) from Italy and Universite de Valencia from Spain.

Besides representatives of Expeditio and our associates, Jacques Mattei and Enrico Zuninno (Zuninno e Partner, Italy), as well as Raul Abeledo (Universite de Valencia, Spain) took part at these meetings as well. A leaflet and poster accompanying the project "Cultural Needs of Youth in Boka Kotorska" were printed. A part of the project is a research focusing on the cultural needs of young people living on the territory of the municipalities of Tivat, Kotor and Herceg Novi. The research will be conducted through using individual interviews, discussions within focus groups, as well as through the involvement of young people who are willing to answer to questions about their culture related needs and problems. Besides young people, the target groups of the project are the local governments on the territory of Boka Kotorska, institutions and organizations dealing with young people (schools, NGOs, associations, clubs ...), institutions dealing with culture and media.

• What is culture for me? What does the term "culture" mean to me?
• Do I like what is happening now in the field of culture in Boka? What do I like? What do I dislike?
  What cultural events would I create?
  What do I need when culture is concerned?
  Do all young people have equal opportunities to follow culture and engage in it? If "no", why? If "yes", why?
  Do I/or any of my peers encounter any obstacles in fulfilling my/their cultural needs? If the obstacles exist, how they can be overcome?

On July, 4 2009, Expeditio started the project "SOSTENUTO" which is implemented with partner organizations from the Mediterranean region, through the MED programme of the European Union. The MED programme promotes transnational partnerships on the Northern part of the Mediterranean by financing projects working on fields pointed as priorities for the area.
