Project "Reflection of Arts in Public Spaces in Cetinje" was realized in the period December 2008 - September 2009 in the framework of the UNDP program "Support Project to Spatial Planning in Montenegro".The aim of the project "Reflection of Arts in Public Spaces in Cetinje" was to improve the public spaces in Cetinje with new elements of artistic quality through the implementation of specific interventions by involving stakeholders in decision-making and planning. The donor of this project is the Swedish Agency for International Development - SIDA.
The authors of sculptures/installations and participants in the project “Reflection of the Arts in Public Spaces in Cetinje“, the Faculty of Fine Arts at Cetinje, the historic capital of Cetinje, the UNDP office in Montenegro and EXPEDITIO issued a joint reaction against the destruction of sculptures exhibited in public spaces in Cetinje, implemented within the project “Reflection of the Arts in Public Spaces in Cetinje“.
We would like to inform you that on September 16th, 2009, 10 works of the students of the Faculty of Fine Arts in Cetinje will be displayed in public spaces throughout the town. The works will be set up from September 16-26 as part of a project entitled "Reflection of the Art in the Public Spaces of Cetinje." The project is being implemented in order to enhance public spaces in Cetinje by adding new artistic elements.

Presentation of Prostoroz group from Slovenia and Academica group from Belgrade took place on May the 13th 2009. at 19:00 on the Faculty of Art in Cetinje. Presentations were the part of project called “Reflection of the Art in Public Spaces in Cetinje”, which goal is the improvement of public spaces in Cetinje with new elements of artistic quality.

Počela je implementacija projekta „Odraz umjetnosti u javnim prostorima Cetinja“ koji nevladina organizacija EXPEDITIO iz Kotora realizuje u okviru programa UNDP-a „Jačanje sistema upravljanja u oblasti prostorog planiranja radi rješavanja problema nekontrolisane gradnje i implementacije novog zakonodavstva u oblasti planiranja”.
Within the project “Reflection of the Art in Public Spaces of Cetinje”, we had the meeting with representatives of Cetinje that was held on April the 15th. At the meeting we presented the project and activity plan to the representatives. The secretary of spatial planning Mirko Stjepcevic, and the secretary of public works Vesna Tomanovic introduced us to activities and plans og Cetinje municipality about public spaces. At the meeting we agreed on cooperation during this project. .
EXPEDITIO is a non-governmental organization whose mission is to encourage sustainable spatial development in Montenegro and SEE region through activity in the fields of sustainable architecture, cultural heritage, urban planning and through projects that encourage overall development of the civil society. Expeditio was established in 1997.
