| Aim of the project | EXPEDITIO organized a program of visit of three cultural heritage experts from the USA, in cooperation with the US Embassy in Podgorica. The visit was realized through the US Embassy Speaker program. The aim of the visit of the American heritage experts to Montenegro was to acquaint Montenegrin cultural heritage stakeholders with the practices of cultural heritage protection and enhancement applied in America, which could be important for enhancing Montenegrin cultural heritage protection system and for encouraging the process of development of an adequate strategy of cultural heritage protection in Montenegro, considering especially the role of heritage as an important factor of development. |
| Activities | The program consisted of a series of visits and meeting with representatives of the relevant Montenegrin institutions and organizations dealing with cultural heritage based in Podgorica, Cetinje, Pljevlja, Kolašin, Bar and Kotor. |

U periodu od 13. do 17. oktobra 2008, u saradnji sa Ambasadom Sjedinjenih Američkih Država u Podgorici, EXPEDITIO organizuje program posjete američkih eksperata iz oblasti kulturnog nasljeđa. Posjeta se realizuje u okviru Spiker programa Ambasade SAD. Cilj ove posjete je da eksperti iz Amerike, kroz seriju prezentacija i sastanaka, akterima na polju kulturnog nasljeđa iz Crne Gore prenesu svoja iskustva vezana za zaštitu i unapređenje kulturnog nasljeđa. Ova iskustva iz Amerike bi mogla da budu značajna za podsticanje procesa razvoja adekvatne strategije zaštite kulturnog nasljeđa Crne Gore, uzimajući posebno u obzir ulogu nasljeđa kao bitnog faktora razvoja.
